  • "Good quality, great customer service!" - Alexis B. ★★★★★

After having bought 2 other harnesses that didn’t quite fit, the EverStride one fit perfectly! The package did not come with the shoulder strap so i contacted customer service. They were absolutely wonderful and were quick to respond and offered to send me another harness with the strap included and I could then either keep the old one or donate it to a local dog shelter. The harness itself is sturdy and easy to put on. What I liked most was that my dog didn’t have to “step” into it. She has an injured leg and was unable to lift it so this made it so much easier than others I have tried. Highly recommend. Great customer service!!!

  • "Well made harness" - Chris L. ★★★★★

This harness is the best I have ever owned. My boy was having trouble with weakness in his hind legs, which I now know is degenerative myelopathy. So I found this and thought why not give it a try. It has been so helpful in helping me support my boy on small walks and when he needs to go potty. We’ve spent a lot of time the last day or so outside using potty and this harness has been a true life saver as we navigate supporting our boy!
We had a little hiccup with sizing at first, but the company helped us figure things out and we are all good. They were very responsive and I have no complaints! This harnesses is sturdy, comfortable, and very well made.

  • "A game changer" - Ella B. ★★★★★

This has been a lifesaver!! Our 13.5 year old pup was suddenly unable to walk without falling down. Vet unable to determine cause, but thankfully he is improving every day. Before we got this harness, I had to carry him everywhere and he couldn’t stand without falling. Now I can support his front and rear and he can cruise around and even get up and down stairs. I am so grateful we found this. It’s made all the difference. Thank you!!

EverStride FAQ's

Will the harness fit my dog properly?

The EverStride harness features a 6-point adjustable fit system with straps at the neck, chest, torso, and legs—allowing you to customize the fit for your dog's unique body shape. We offer four size options (Medium, Large, X-Large, XX-Large) based on weight and chest measurements. Each harness comes with a detailed sizing guide, and our adjustable design accommodates dogs from 40 to 150+ pounds. If you're between sizes or unsure, our customer support team can help you select the right fit based on your dog's measurements—and we offer hassle-free exchanges within 30 days if the size isn't perfect.

How do I clean the harness if it gets dirty or smells?

The EverStride harness is made from durable, washable materials designed for daily use. For regular cleaning, hand wash with mild soap and warm water, then air dry completely before the next use. For deeper cleaning, you can machine wash on a gentle cycle inside a mesh laundry bag—just make sure to remove any detachable straps first and air dry (do not put in the dryer as heat can damage the padding and elastic components). The quick-dry fabric means you can wash it in the evening and have it ready for morning use. We recommend cleaning weekly or as needed, especially if your dog has accidents or the harness gets muddy during outdoor use.

Will this work for male dogs or does the belly strap get in the way?

Yes! The EverStride harness features a male-friendly anatomical design with strategic cutouts and adjustable belly straps that provide clearance for male dogs to urinate naturally without contaminating the harness. Unlike standard belly slings that cover the prepuce and get soaked with urine, our design allows your dog to eliminate freely and comfortably. The rear support straps are positioned to avoid interference during bathroom breaks for both male and female dogs. Thousands of male dog owners specifically choose EverStride to eliminate the hygiene nightmare of constantly washing urine-soaked slings.

Can I use this harness for post-surgery recovery (TPLO, spinal surgery, etc.)?

Absolutely. The EverStride harness is recommended by veterinary rehabilitation specialists for post-surgical recovery, including TPLO, ACL/CCL repairs, spinal surgeries, and hip procedures. The even weight distribution prevents concentrated pressure on surgical sites, while the multiple lift handles give you controlled assistance during the critical 8-12 week recovery period. The adjustable fit accommodates post-op swelling and allows you to provide the exact level of support your dog needs as they regain strength—from full weight-bearing assistance in week 1 to light stabilization support by week 8. Always consult your veterinarian about when to start using mobility aids after surgery, but most vets clear harness use within 3-5 days post-op.
